Solar Sales Specialist

Current Vacancies: 2

Experience: 2+ years

Skills Required:
  • 2 years prior experience in a quota-driven sales position highly preferred
  • Retail sales experience – working the floor highly preferred
  • Prior experience generating customer leads preferred
  • Slightly obsessive about providing a great customer experience, in all the right ways
  • High energy, even higher integrity required
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Description:
  • We welcome over-achievers, leaders, and candidates who have been Peace Corps or Teach for America volunteers, college athletes, Eagle Scouts, military veterans, and community service leaders
  •  Must be flexible working weekend, evening and holiday shifts
  • Must be comfortable in an active face to face retail environment
  • This position requires proactively approaching customers throughout the store by engaging the
    customers in one-on-one discussions and regularly moving with them as they shop.
  • This position also requires interacting with the customer at any Sunnect Solar display, kiosk, or other locations within the store as appropriate
  • Min 18 years of age with a high school degree, college grads preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal driving and drug screen
  • Must have valid state driver’s license
  • Must have clean driving record (example no DUI in last 5 years)
  • Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills required

Solar Field Specialist – Part Time Flexible Schedule – Glendale

Current Vacancies: 1

Skills Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Chrome or Firefox browser
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak with members of the public.
  • A drive to succeed with a positive attitude and high energy – Results and Action Oriented
  • Willing and able to be in a retail environment and stand for extended periods
  • Tenacity and ability to handle rejection
  • Proficient conducting product demonstration
  • Ability to influence the buying decision
  • Clean, neat, professional image; Logo’d shirts provided, pants or nice jeans (free of holes), no open toe shoes.
  • Customer service oriented and enjoys being helpful to others
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Independent, self- motivated and organized
  • Flexible and able to adapt
  • Reliable access to transportation, as needed, to travel to/from territory
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record that meets Sunnect Solar’s criteria and a willingness to travel (this position will require traveling to specific sites)

The Solar Field Specialist will engage with potential customers, educate them, and increase their interest level to obtain a qualified request  from Sunnectsolar.com and a consultation by phone with a solar sales expert. You will obtain these qualified requests from customers at their door as you make your way around Sunnectsolar.com service area.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire leads via door to door sales techniques, engage, qualify, and excite the customer
  • Must complete accurate, timely and daily recap reports
  • Must consistently meet quota
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends.
